Positioning error is affected by the environment (high-rise shielding, tunnels) and weather; the GPS error of ≤10M is an ideal value. If the error is too large, check GPS device installation position (avoid shielding the built-in ceramic antenna), prioritize open areas, ensure multi-mode positioning (GPS/BDS/GLONASS+WiFi+LBS) is enabled, update the third-party WiFi database, or confirm base station coverage.
Two conditions must be met: normal device positioning + vehicle speed <20KM/H. Check if GPS device is online and whether the command format is correct (platform command or SMS). If the vehicle speed exceeds 20KM/H, GPS device will delay execution until the conditions are met.
GPS device’s operating temperature range is -20℃~+70℃; exceeding this range will trigger protection. Avoid direct sunlight in high temperatures, ensure stable power supply in low temperatures, and install GPS device in a ventilated and temperature-appropriate area.
The corresponding function must be enabled first: Vibration alarm requires arming 10 minutes after ACC OFF and will be triggered only if vibrated 3 times within 10 seconds. Displacement alarm requires GPS device to move after 20 minutes of sleep. Check if the function switch and arming conditions are satisfied, and adjust the alarm threshold.
